Finally got our nicer camera to get pictures on here right side up! For the 4th of July we spent a day in Memphis and the rest of the weekend in Clinton. Kevin was supposed to have the weekend off but he still ended up studying everyday. By the way he is doing really great in school, so proud of him.
This was at the zoo. They had such awesome things there, one being this water fountain/splash pad.
Considering this is about 3 hours past her usual nap time, she was a pleasant little thing all day.
We kept cool with the misters and hydrating with lots of water.
Love this face. Sage had just given her a big wet one.
She has got the "cheese" down!
Another "cheese!"We walked down Beale Street and it was an awesome experience. There is a lot of history here, it is where Martin Luther King did his last march/protest and there was a lot of violence there. Its also where many famous musicians perform: BB King, Ray Charles, Elvis! I loved it.
Clinton had a great celebration with bouncy houses, slides, climbing wall, fireworks, etc. Emery actually loved the fireworks, but Sage was kinda freaking out.
We really missed family this holiday, but I am so grateful for the people we've met here.
